Environment 2007 conference & exhibition: The 5th International Conference & Exhibition for Environmental Technologies, Management & Funding
At Environment 2007, the 5th international environment conference and trade fair, a host of new business opportunities for environmental technologies and services will be introduced. Donors and government projects will be present, along with funding opportunities and programmes for emission trading. The event will present technologies and services for all environment sectors including urban and industrial waste management, air protection, agriculture and energy conservation, inspection, certification, eco-labeling and ecotourism. A special focus will be put on new business opportunities in the field of renewable energies and emission trading as well as water and waste waster.
Environment 2007 will be held at the prestigious Cairo International Conference Centre, on May 21st – 23rd, 2007 under the auspices of H.E Prime Minister Dr.Ahmed Nazif. It is organised by MAGICX, on behalf of the Egyptian Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs with the support of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Ministry of Irrigation and water resources, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban development and the Ministry of Trade and Industry as well as the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations.
Environment 2007 has the political support of the EU and the EuroMed 35 Environment ministers which expressed their support formally in their declaration at their meeting in Cairo last November: The Euro-Mediterranean Ministers of Environment and heads of delegation participating in the 3rd Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial Conference on the Environment held in Cairo (Egypt) on 20 November 2006 Welcome 'Environment 2007' the 5th International Conference & Exhibition, and urge all Euro-Med countries and their businesses to maximize their participation in this endeavour as a major public-private-partnership contribution to Horizon 2020.
