Water Awareness Stakeholder Workshop

On May 7th a stakeholder meeting on water awareness raising in Jordan will be held in the UNU-ILI. The Meeting is supported by GTZ, USAID and all relevant stakeholders in Jordan. The meeting is to plan a country wide water awareness project.

The Objectives of the meeting are:
1. Learn to know the different actors in water awareness in Jordan
2. Develop and analyse a stakeholder map of water awareness
3. Learn to know the diversity of awareness materials and approaches that have been developed so far for water awareness in Jordan
4. Understand the link between increased awareness and behavioural change in water related behaviour
5. Develop ideas how to sustain awareness raising and ensure it leads to behavioural change
