Speaker: Dr. Manoj Nadkarni, Water Integrity Network.

Corruption - defined as the misuse of entrusted power for private gain - reduces economic growth, discourages investment, violates human dignity, increases health risks and robs the porr of livelihoods and access to water services.

Corruption hurts the poor - by limiting the expansion andeffective delivery of water supply and sanitation services and the overall management of water resources - by diverting investments that would benefit them.
