The 4th International Conference on the Water Resources in the Mediterranean Basin, WATMED 4

The main objectives of The WATMED 4 international conference are:
To review and compare the state of water resources in the Mediterranean basin,
To reconcile between scarcity, quality, durability of resources, Interrelationships between global change, drought and desertification,
To review the methods of for assessment and monitoring of aquatic ecosystems "health",
To formulate strategies and identify ecotechnological approaches for the restoration and management of aquatic ecosystems,
To identify areas of co-operation in aquatic sciences between Mediterranean countries.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is: 15 March 2007.
