EC Conference "GREEN WEEK 2008 - Only one Earth-Don't waste it!"

The European Commission is organising this annual event that will take place the week of the World Environment Day.

Green Week 2008 will take a closer look at the sustainable use of natural resources, focusing on waste management, sustainable consumption and production.

The event will provide a unique opportunity for debate, exchanges of experience and best practice among non-governmental organisations, businesses, various levels of government and the public.

Registration for the event begins in April 2008 and will remain open until the start of the Conference.
