Event European Sustainable Water Goals training 2008

The ESWG project is a Marie Curie actions  funded by the European Commission. It is a unique opportunity to train 30 EU researchers (the deadline to apply and get a EU scholarship is set at 30th of april). The training week will be held in Venice, 7-11th September 2008.

 Topics planned for the 2008 training session:

1)Range of Climatic Change: a) impacts on water resources – response of hydrological systems (anthropogenic and natural causes); b) Impact on society;

2) Volatility and Vulnerability : a) indicators for standard indices;

3) Responses: Raplexity and Mobilizing Society: a) Defending infrastructures; b) Relocation; c) Managing Uncertainty; d) Research of Adaptive Management and Coping of Adaptive Technique
