Final Conference on River Basin Management: Processes, data, future scenarios
The EU Integrated Project "AquaTerra" finally finishes after 5 years of research of 45 partners in Europe with an international conference on the scientific fundamentals for river basin management. The project aims at a better understanding of the river-sediment-soil-groundwater system as a whole, by integrating both natural and socio-economic aspects at different temporal ans spatial scales. The intention of this final conference is to discuss the state-of-knowledge and to give directions and incentives for future research.
