BioVision.Nxt 2011
The registration for the upcoming BioVision.Nxt Lyon is now open.
BioVision, the World Life Sciences Forum, is inviting 100 promising PhD students and Post-doc to attend the 3 days Forum (27-29 March 2011, Lyon, France) thanks to a Fellowship programme called BioVision.Nxt. On the 26th of March 2011, BioVision.NXT will hold specific activities and workshops, to prepare the selected young scientists for their active participation to the Forum. BioVision.Nxt will provide a unique opportunity for young scientists from both developed and developing countries to interact with some of the world's leading life scientists.
How to apply:
- complete and submit the application form attached
- include the following documents:
- passport size photograph as a separate JPEG file
- a copy of your passport (Only the page with personal details is required)
- your curriculum vitae and list of publications (Do not send papers)
- university degrees certificates
- one reference letter from a senior scientist familiar with the applicant's work
- a letter of motivation explaining your interest for the BioVision.Nxt programme
Send the application form duly completed and all the above mentioned documents to: Biovision.nxt@biovision.org
Deadline: All applications should be submitted no later than September 30th 2010.
Travel Grant:
As an attempt to increase the participation of young scientists from the developing world, TWAS (The Academy of Sciences for the Developing World) is offering a competitive travel grant through its five regional offices. TWAS and its regional offices will partially cover the travel cost of up to 50 excellent young scientists to attend this high-profile event, while the World Life Sciences Forum, BioVision will cover the accommodation expenses during the conference. Each of the TWAS Regional offices will be responsible for the selection of up to 10 eligible young scientists, from its region, in the fields of biology/biotechnology
