ACWUA second training course: “GIS for Water Utilities”

The “GIS for Water Utilities” Training Course has been POSTPONED three weeks; so as to take place in Amman from 26th – 30th  June 2011.The Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA) is pleased to announce the second training course titled “GIS for Water Utilities” under the Water Utilities Management Capacity Building Program (WUM-CBP).

This program is organized in cooperation with Engicon O&M and the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Solid Waste (DWA).

The “GIS for Water Utilities” Training Course has been POSTPONED three weeks; so as to take place in Amman from 26th – 30th  June 2011.

This decision has been taken after consultation with organizers and accepted participants in order to give more time for interested members to get financial support to attend this valuable training course – Especially that organizers do not support any expenses for this program in specific – and to ensure the highest level of experience exchange among the most possible number of participants from different Arab Countries; ACWUA and organizers considered this postponement for the best of all parties.

The training course: “GIS for Water Utilities” will be held in Amman from 26-30 June, 2011 in cooperation with Engicon O&M and the German Association for Water, Wastewater and solid Waste (DWA).

ACWUA is seeking an effective participation from water utilities, and is looking forward to have highly qualified employees attending to enrich the training program with their expertise.

The training course fees are as listed below:

• The training fees include (5 days training, training material, daily lunches and coffee breaks, site visits and issuing certificates).
• Course organizers may help in arranging hotel accommodation, but does not cover accommodation costs.
• Deadline for applications: 20^th June, 2011. Early entries have first priority.
