ENPI CBC MED / technical event Tunis, June 1st

The Joint Managing Authority and the Branch Office for the Western Mediterranean of ENPI CBC MED Programme organise the technical seminar on the first call for strategic projects that will take place in Tunis on Wednesday 1st June 2011 at the Golden Tulip El Mechtel in view of informing on the practical details of the call for proposals which has been launched on the 5th May 2011 following the decision taken by the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Programme in its meeting of the 13 and 14 April.

The technical seminar will present the ENPI CBC MED programme and the specific rules for the first call for strategic projects to the potential beneficiaries paying a special attention to the six topics included in the call. The seminar will also include a dedicated session on how to fill in the Project Concept Note.

As you may know the cross-border Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme is part of the European Neighbourhood Policy and of its financing instrument (European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument) and its final aim is the promotion of the sustainable and harmonious cooperation process at the Mediterranean Sea Basin level by dealing with the common challenges and enhancing its endogenous potential. In this framework, the allocate budget for the present call for strategic projects is 62,4 million euros.
