Event Egypt and the Nile Basin: Between Past, Present and Future

The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World’s-Arab Regional Office (TWAS-ARO) is organizing a lecture entitled Egypt and the Nile Basin: Between Past, Present and Future, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Great Hall.

The Lecture will be presented by H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Abu-Zeid, President of the Arab Water Council and Former Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation. The Lecture aims at discussing the relations between Egypt and the Nile Basin countries and the current conventions and initiatives; it will also review the current Egyptian water situation, the Egyptian plan to face it, and the future requirements.

The Lecture will be in Arabic and open to the public.
