Introduction:
This course is one of the back-to-back activities that will be held during the 3rd Arab Water Week 2015. Interested participants are required to register separately to attend this course.
Course targets:
The course is intended for water professionals who want to gain insight into the power of numerical groundwater simulations when dealing with water challenges in arid regions. It provides information about the capabilities of currently available tools, shows application examples, and offers the chance to get first experience in numerical simulation with the software FEFLOW.
Participants:
Participants with at least basic knowledge about groundwater systems and related fluid flow and mass transport processes will get the most out of this course. Prior experience with groundwater modelling is not required
