10th Edition of the Spanish Technical Meetings on Dams

The Spanish Committee on Large Dams (SPANCOLD) organizes with the collaboration of the Confederacion Hidrografica del Guadalquivir, the 10th Edition of the Spanish Technical Meetings on Dams (X Jornadas Españolas de Presas) to be held at Seville, next February of 2015 from 18th to 20th both included.

Since 1985, SPANCOLD organizes these Technical Meetings with the aim of joining together as many water management professionals as possible and bring them out the possibility of discussing about the problems related to this essential resource and exchange their opinions on water management.

The selected topics to be analysed and discussed in these Technical sessions are the following:

• INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY: Dams and Ponds safety
  • - Innovation on dam planning, design and construction
  • - Spillways and outlets
  • - Conservation, maintenance and rehabilitation
