The second international conference on sustainable water management of the ACCBAT project (ENPI CBC MED PROGRAMME STRATEGIC PROJECT) & EXHIBITION ON IRRIGATION SYSTEMS IN ITALY
The ACCBAT project is holding its second international conference on sustainable water management on Monday, March 23rd 2015 in Rome, Italy.
The event, under the title "Save Water, Reuse Water", is organized as part of the UN World Water Day 2015 and under the patronage of Expo 2015.
Institutional representatives and experts from both sides of the Mediterranean will discuss ways to increase water use efficiency, especially in the field of agriculture.

The ACCBAT project in brief
The project aims to improve water demand management and ensure water needs of the agricultural sector through the increase of water-use efficiency and of use of treated wastewater. Pilot actions, reinforcement of capacity building and training in Lebanon, Jordan and Tunisia are the key activities to achieve these objectives.
