5th International Conference on Small and Decentralized Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants (SWAT5)

The 5th International Conference on Small and Decentralized Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants (SWAT5), taking place in Thessaloniki, Greece, from August 26 to August 29, 2018. The conference is going to be organized by the Department of Chemistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Division of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Food Technology Department, Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki.

The main conference goal is to present the best drinking water and/or wastewater treatment techniques, especially those related to small municipalities, communities, settlements, hotels or industrial plants, based on environmental, financial, technical and social criteria. The manuscripts that will be selected, as oral or poster presentations, will be included in the conference program and they will be electronically published in book format e-proceedings with a separate ISBN number.  Manuscripts are accepted in English. The scientific and organizing committees will publish special issues in international scientific journals, containing selected papers presented at the conference.
