2nd International Conference ADAPTtoCLIMATE 24-25 June 2019 Heraklion, Crete island, Greece

The Scientific & Organising Committee is pleased to announce that the 2nd International Conference “ADAPTtoCLIMATE” will be held in Heraklion in Crete Island, Greece, on 24th & 25th June 2019. The Conference is held under the LIFE ADAPT2CLIMA project whose main focus area is the adaptation of agricultural sector to climate change. The Conference addresses a wider array of topics including climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptation.

Call for Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract of maximum 2 pages in English, including figures and tables (as MS Word file). The abstracts can be submitted electronically via the specific form no later than 31st January 2019.

Abstracts will be accepted based on quality, originality and relevance to the conference themes. All accepted papers will be published as the conference proceedings (USB stick), while the best papers after evaluation will be published in scientific journals. We look forward to receiving your paper and we hope to see you actively taking part in the ADAPTtoCLIMATE 2019 Conference.

Paper Submissions

After the end of the review process of the abstracts, the authors of the papers accepted for oral and poster presentation are asked to submit a full paper with maximum length of 12 pages. Please send the full paper by email to konmoust@central.ntua.gr until 15th May 2019 at the latest.

Important deadlines

Registration: There is no registration fee. Advanced registration is strongly recommended.

The deadline for registration for participating in the AdaptToClimate social events is on the 15th May 2019.

It is noted that certificates of attendance will be provided to all participants of the ADAPTtoCLIMATE Conference.
