Climate and Environment in the Mediterranean region, our common challenge – Barcelona, 10 October 2019
“Climate and Environment in the Mediterranean region, our common challenge”, will be held, on the occasion of the IV UfM Regional Forum on 10 October, at Hotel Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I - Av. Diagonal 661-671, 08028 Barcelona, Spain.
The event will present the main results of the first-ever comprehensive scientific report on the impact of climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean region, developed by Mediterranean Experts on Climate and Environmental Change (MedECC), a network of over 80 scientists from across the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Scientists, policymakers and key stakeholders will discuss ground-breaking findings on the main vulnerabilities in our region as well as its resilience to climate change in the coming years, and the way forward. More information on the conference can be found in the attached programme.
Key strategic partners and stakeholders of national, regional and international importance come together on the occasion to frame and discuss a crucial common challenge for the Mediterranean region.
