Event IPEMed: Conference-debate 17 December 2008: "Building a Mediterranean Water Strategy: Water services, Climate, and Security"

Following on from the launch of 'Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean' and bearing in mind the urgency of tackling the climate change and security challenges facing today's world, IPEMed, the Mediterranean world economic foresight institute, in conjunction with the Foundation for strategic research (FRS) and with the support of Suez Environnement, is holding a conference/debate on: "Building a Mediterranean Water Strategy: Water services, Climate, and  
Security" in Wednesday 17 December 2008 from 2 pm to 6.30 pm, at ENA, 2 avenue de l'Observatoire, 75006 Paris.

The conference/debate will bring together experts, political decision-makers and institutional stakeholders from the North and South of the Mediterranean to address the strategic urgency of  
inscribing water at the top of the political agenda, and of moving from words to action.

The conference will be followed by a cocktail.
