Waterwise’s 3rd Annual Water Efficiency Conference

Waterwise’s 3rd Annual Water Efficiency Conference will be held on Tuesday, 8th April and Wednesday, 9th April 2008 at Oxford University.  This year’s theme is the ‘Road to Water Efficiency in the UK’.  The dinner and symposium offer opportunities to network as well as exchange ideas that may shape water efficiency policy and practice in the UK.  Delegates will hear from high level speakers including the UK Minister for the Environment, key regulators, practitioners from water companies, and government representatives.  This year’s conference also includes speakers from the USA, Spain and Australia who will discuss water efficiency policy and practice in their countries.  Confirmed speakers include:

Waterwise is a nongovernmental, not-for-profit organisation based in London.  The organisation’s main aims are to decrease water consumption in the UK and to build the evidence base for demand management.  We are the leading authority on water efficiency in the UK, and are the only NGO to sit on the Environment Minister’s Water Saving Group alongside water industry and regulators.
