Spain: Consummation and water price increase
Spain: According to the national institute of statistics, Spain lost in 2004 17,9 % of the water distributed to the communes (4.923 mm3). The household consumption had increased by 2,4 % to 2.701 mm3, while agriculture took 17.808 mm3 (+1,4 %) including 51,2 % for the gravitating irrigation. At the same time, a report of the WWF pinned water management in Spain.
