GEDEAU-virtual library of the water resources launched by EMWIS NFP

EMWIS National Focal Point (NFP) in Tunisia (General Direction of Water Resources in the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, and Water Resources), has launched a virtual library called "GEDEAU", which constitutes a documentary source in the field of the water resources in Tunisia. It consists an electronic management of documents, the sheering and the exchange of the data base between the users in the sector of water on the national and international level. This virtual library includes:
-  Water Resources annual reports: This collection comprises the annual reports of the Water Resources containing the annual monitoring data annually collected to leave: networks of monitoring data pluviometric and hydrometric, networks of monitoring data piezometric evolution and abstraction of the ground water, sites of the artificial recharge of the aquifers from surplus surface water and non conventional water, network of monitoring of the quality of the ground water
- Publications: It contains the principal publications published with the reviews of the water resources.
- CDS/ISIS: Is the collection of the meta-data bibliographical references constituting the documentary stock of the water resources library.
- Maps of the Water Resources: It consists in gathering information relating to the maps of the water resources established on topographic funds at scale 1/200.000.
- Reports of the Studies: It comprises the reports of the studies carried out in the field of the water resources and referring to Hydrology and Hydrogeology and Geophysics
- Legislation: It contains the code of water, the decrees of application governing the hydraulic public domain, as well as the standards relating to the use of the water resources in Tunisia.
