News First Announcement and Call for papers for the International Conference on Technologies for Industrial Wastewater Treatment and Reuse in the Mediterranean Region

The Conference will take place in “Jerba”, Tunisia the days 24-26 May 2007. The main Objectives of the Conference are:

- To update and to discuss recent trends in industrial wastewater treatment and reuse technologies. Emphasis will be laid on those technologies which are adapted economically, and socially to Developing and Transition Countries in the Mediterranean Region;
- To initiate international cooperative networks;
-  To identify key research projects for the ongoing EU 7th Framework Programme.

The three day International Conference (24 - 26 May 2007) will consist of plenary lectures and round table discussions. In addition, a number of oral and poster presentations will be selected from the submitted abstracts. 15/03/07: Deadline for the submission of extended abstracts (max. 1 page).
