Water information in Lebanon: EMWIS NFP launched a new website version

EMWIS National Focal Point (NFP), which is the "Direction Générale des Ressources Hydrauliques et Électriques and the Direction Générale de l'Exploitation" has just launched a new website version. This new multilingual and dynamic portal is available in English, French and Arabic.

It contains sections on: news & events, water institutions, water context, water documentation (including law and regulations), training in water issues, water research & development, and data management.

This new portal is based on XML, which will facilitate syndication and information flow exchange with EMWIS portal (www.emwis.net) and with other information providers portals.
