Within ALJ Grant for Funding Scientific Research in the Arab World Arab Science and Technology Foundation runs a Research Project on Plant Used to Purify and Treat Groundwater
Many Arab countries rely on groundwater as the main source of potable water. The major priority of such countries is securing potable water in sufficient quantities and excellent quality with the aim of sustaining human life and preserving the environment.
Based upon the high importance of this issue, the Arab Science and Technology Foundation has run a research project funded by Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) Grant for funding scientific research in the Arab world. The research team has developed a method of using plants in purifying and treating water. This method is represented by a state-of-the-art, cost-effective technology used for purifying water and treating the environment to get rid of all types of pollutants.
