Heroes of the Environment 2008: Gidon Bromberg, Nader Al-Khateeb And Munqeth Mehyar (FoEME)

Israeli President Shimon Peres met with Friends of the Earth Middle East's three Directors to honor FoEME's cross border efforts to rehabilitate Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian shared environment as highlighted last month by TIME Magazine. 

TIME selected FoEME as Environmental Heroes alongside internationally renowned leaders, entrepreneurs and scientists in the environmental field. 

FoEME is a unique organization that brings together Jordanian, Palestinian, and Israeli environmentalists. Its primary objective is the promotion of cooperative efforts to protect Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian shared environmental heritage.
