Cyprus: BEL wins pressure-vessel order
BEL Group Ltd announced in mid-May 2010 that its subsidiary, BEL Composite industries Ltd, had been contracted to supply its composite pressure vessels (desalination membrane housings) for the 60,000 m³/d Vasilikos Power Plant seawater desalination plant in Cyprus.
The reverse-osmosis plant is being constructed under a € 46 million (US$ 57.7 million) contract awarded to IDE Technologies earlier this year. IDE's third desalination plant in Cyprus will produce water for potable and agricultural use.
