Project Officer – Writer/Process Documentalist, IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre, The Netherlands [deadline 16 August]

As part of its Global and/or Africa team, IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre is looking for a project officer who will be involved in writing, editing and the adaptation of various IRC materials and publications. These will include: briefing notes, fact sheets, news articles for paper and electronic newsletters and peer reviewed pieces. On occasion, you will also be expected to document (independently or as part of a team) the developments in programmatic work undertaken by IRC colleagues. As an international organisation IRC makes use of a wide range of electronic media channels, which would feature prominently in your work.

Requirements include:

• Professional education, Bachelor's or Master's level with a background in WASH or developmental studies
• Advanced or specialised writing or communication training
• At least 2 years professional experience in an international context
• Preferably a native English speaker, fluent written and spoken Dutch with, preferably a third language (French, Portuguese or Spanish)

Duty station: The Hague, The Netherlands
Salary: BBRA scale 9 (min. €2,455.66 to max. €3,469.57)
