WssTP is looking for a new Pilot Coordination Committee Leader
WssTP is looking for a new Pilot Coordination Committee (PCC)
Leader after the resignation of Boris Lesjean, who has done an efficient and
remarkable job during the last two years.
The role of
the PCC Leader is to:
• Coordinate the activities of
the WssTP working groups (6 Pilot Programmes and 6 Task Forces), including the
organisation of 3-4 PCC meetings per year with representatives of the working
groups
• Ensure that the activities are performed
according to the SRA and the principles of Integrated Water Resource Management,
incl. participation to at least one meeting per year of each working
group.
• Report the PCC activities to the board of
WssTP, incl. participation to 3-4 board meetings per year
• Provide recommendations on R&D Roadmap on water to the European
Commission and National Member States
• Contribute to
the communication and R&D lobby activity of WssTP, together with the board
and the secretariat of WssTP
The position is
estimated to require 70 to 100 days per year, including the participation to
meetings in Brussels and throughout Europe. Please note that this position is
non- retributed, it is an in- kind contribution of a WssTP member to the
association. Boris Lesjean will be available to support the smooth transition
with the new leader in the first months of activities.
WssTP has 6 Pilot Programmes and 6 Task Forces. Each Pilot Programme
addresses a major water challenge in Europe, related to the Strategic Research
Agenda (SRA).
