Call for abstracts for the Second International Conference on "Groundwater Resources Management: Adaptation Measures to Water Scarcity"

The Conference on Groundwater Resources Management: Adaptation Measures to Water Scarcity Science and Policy Responses is jointly organized by UNESCO and the University of Irvine, California (UCI) and it will take place from 30 November to 3 December 2011 in Irvine , California , USA .

This Second UNESCO-UCI 2011 Conference on ‘Groundwater Resources Management’ will evaluate the progress made in groundwater management since the First Conference in 2008. It will also explore the areas where further progress can and should be made as well as identify the needs for legal, institutional and policy instruments and their links to science. The Conference results will be presented at the 6th World Water Forum (March 2012, Marseille , France ) and the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, June 2012, Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ).

§                 Notification Of Abstracts Acceptance: on a rolling basis until 15 September 2011

§                 Submission of final papers or posters (only for accepted abstracts): 1 November 2011
