Vacancy Announcement: Resource Development Manager

Wetlands International is seeking a Resource Development Manager. The Resource Development manager is to lead the organisation's strategic efforts to raise revenues and to develop a robust pipeline of institutional grant opportunities.

Wetlands International is an independent, not-for-profit, global organisation that works through a network of 20 offices worldwide, with its’ headquarters in the Netherlands. The mission is to sustain and restore wetlands, their resources and biodiversity. The current programmes of work build knowledge, address policies and facilitate community-based action for wetlands in relation to local livelihoods, biodiversity, water resources and climate change.

The Resource Development Manager is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the resource development efforts for the whole Wetlands International network, as well as for the successful execution of all initiatives and activities driven by the resource development strategy.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Resource Development Manager who can identify with Wetlands International’s mission and vision and is able to articulate our work in a credible and passionate way.

S/he has well-developed strategic, facilitation, networking and communication skills as well as a strong track record in resource development. S/he will have NGO experience and a strong interest in international conservation and sustainable development.
