Project Manager, IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre, The Netherlands [deadline 16 January 2012]

The Project Manager’s main responsibility is to ensure the smooth implementation of selected medium to large projects, specifically those with US-based funding (Triple-S, WASHCost and WA-WASH), in accordance with their respective planning and approaches.

Organisation: IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre

Salary scale: Project Officer, BBRA scale 8 or 9 (min. € 2,280.63 and max. €3,469.57) depending on qualifications and experience

Duty station: The Hague, The Netherlands

Requirements include:

• Minimum Bachelor’s level in Project management or any related degree and/ or experience
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience of working and living in different developing countries, preferably in multi-country and / or multi-partner projects, including knowledge of project management systems and programmes.
• A work permit for The Netherlands (granted automatically for EU citizens)
