Call for abstract: Climate Change and Mitigation of Water Induced Disasters

Nepal Engineering College (nec) and Department of Water Induced Disaster Prevention (DWIDP) is organizing an international seminar on “Climate Change and Mitigation of Water Induced Disasters” on 28 March, 2012 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The major objective of the seminar is to bring researchers, professionals and academicians in one platform for sharing and discussing latest information and knowledge in the field of water induced disaster. The seminar will be vital in exacting the role of climate change in water induced disaster through wider level discussion and finding scientific ways for effective mitigation programs. The organizers firmly believe that such type of activities enhance the knowledge base of all the participants which ultimately translate into better planning and execution of disaster risk reduction methods.
