Water Quality and Agriculture: Meeting the Policy Challenge
OECD has just released a report: Water Quality and Agriculture: Meeting the Policy Challenge, see the OECD website www.oecd.org/agriculture/water
The report, with a policy and economics focus, contains a number of case studies on agriculture and water pollution at the regional (European Union, the Baltic Sea) and national (France, UK, and Australia) levels as well as in specific areas (Lake Taupo, New Zealand and Chesapeake Bay, United States). In addition, the report is supported by four background studies, which you can download from the above website, as follows:
- Agriculture and Water Quality: Monetary Costs and Benefits across OECD countries
- Water Quality Trading in Agriculture
- New and Emerging Water Pollution arising from Agriculture
- Agriculture’s Impact on Aquaculture: Hypoxia and Eutrophication in Marine Waters
