Proceedings: Int. Conference on GMS 2020 - Food-Water-Energy Nexus
In February this year, the GMS Environment Operations Center held the International Conference on GMS 2020: Balancing Economic Growth and Environmental Sustainability, in Bangkok, Thailand. Focusing on the Food-Water-Energy Nexus, the conference reflected on Greater Mekong Subregion’s economic growth between 2001 and 2010 and its impact on environmental and social development as well as provided an outlook for the next decade.
More than 50 papers, presentations, and speeches have since been compiled in the conference proceedings and provide a wealth of up-to-date data and analysis on Food-Water-Energy issues in the six countries of the GMS (Cambodia, PR China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam).
