Morocco, interested in the implementation of the waste management scheme established in Tenerife (Spain)

A Moroccan representation of Souss Massa Drâa Regions has visited Tenerife (Spain) in order to make a detailed study concerning the waste management schemes on the island. The representatives aim at applying the same principles in Agadir and Taroudant municipalities. These visits are part of a cross-border collaboration project called Poctefex. Other objectives of this collaboration are municipal staff training, ways on how to minimise waste generation, how to conduct awareness raising campaigns, etc.
