World’s Largest Water Risk News Database – aquaNOW.info – Debuts

Global Environment & Technology Foundation, the supporting organization behind Global Water Challenge and U.S. Water Partnership, is pleased to announce a new web-based engine to access the world’s most substantive database of water-related news. aquaNOW.info empowers users to search through over 300,000 tagged data points across 26,000 water news articles. This pioneering tool allows access to a robust online library in the most relevant and efficient ways for each user. aquaNOW has been designed to meet the diverse water intelligence needs of senior professionals in public policy, investment and finance, the water industry, corporate risk and academia.

In collaboration with Global Water Challenge and the U.S. Water Partnership, OOSKAnews, the world’s leading provider of water-related news, has now synthesized and packaged this historical data and stream of current information to create “aquaNOW - the World’s Water Data Engine.”

aquaNOW is a water-risk and water-opportunity decision support tool. Users can search the database by using a map-based interface delivering detailed results at watershed, country and local levels. aquaNOW also permits topic-driven search in over 25 subject areas including corporate risk, environment, health, energy and food security, regulation and transnational issues.
