Call for abstracts for the 4th SCARCE International Conference: Towards a better understanding of the links between stressors, hazard assessment and ecosystem services under water scarcity; 25-26/11/2013, Cadiz (Spain)
The topics of the 4th SCARCEInternational Conference are:
Monitoring network for chemical andbiological data. Tools for integrationand improvement of risk assessment
Groundwater and surface hydrology.Effect of global change
Assessment of water quality andecosystem functions. Tools for watermanagement
Development of models andintegration tools to assess and managewater resources
Freshwater ecosystem services andintegration in river basin managementplans. Approaches for improving risksunder water scarcity conditions
Socieconomic issues and watermanagement
This SCARCE conference will provide a multi‐disciplinary forum to present and discuss the many issues affecting water resources today. The meeting encourages trans-disciplinary communication on issues related to the toxicants and stressors in water and how affect water use and exploitation by society under scarcity. The conference invites anyone working on water sustainability to share knowledge to face a changing world in water resources management.

Abstracts (in English) for oral (max. 4pages) and poster presentations (1page) should be submitted to theSecretariat before October 15th, 2013.
