Mr. Naser Tahboub appointed as the new UfM Deputy Secretary General for Environment and Water by Union for the Mediterranean

Mr Naser Tahboub was appointed yesterday as the new UfM Deputy Secretary General for Environment and Water by Union for the Mediterranean Senior Officials in Brussels.

Originally from Palestine, Mr Naser Tahboub began his career at the West Bank Ministry of Finance and worked as General Manager at the Al-Aqsa Islamic Bank. Prior to assuming his position at the UfM Secretariat, he held the positions such as Director of the Al Quds University Economic Development Centre and Vice Chairman of the Palestine Capital Market Authority, in addition to serving as Deputy Minister of National Economy.

Mr Naser Tahboub is a governance, policy and business expert.
