ERANETMED Open Call for projects

ERANETMED is an ERA-NET dedicated to the coordination of research and innovation in the area of societal challenges in the Euro-Mediterranean region. It was established in October 2013 and shall end by September 2017. It is coordinated by the Centro Internazionale di Alti Studi Agronomici Mediterranei – Istituto Agronomico Mediterraneo di Bari, in Italy. The main aim of the project is to enhance Euro-Mediterranean co-ownership through innovation and competitive research in the societal challenges of the region. The project aims at reducing fragmentation of programming in the Mediterranean region by increasing coordination among national research programmes of European Member States, Associated Countries and Mediterranean Partner Countries.

Joint call on RENEWABLE ENERGIES, WATER RESOURCES and their connections to the MEDITERRANEAN REGION

This is the announcement of the joint transnational research call of ERANETMED co-funded by the following Euro-Mediterranean countries:

Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Jordan, Greece, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Tunisia, Turkey, and Spain.

Who may apply

Research teams from the above mentioned countries are eligible for funding, unless otherwise specified in national rules of funding agencies which will be published on the official launch of the joint call.

Research teams from other countries are eligible provided that they fund their own involvement.

Proposals submission

The Proposal Submission System for ERANETMED JOINT CALL ON Renewable Energies, Water Resources and their connections for the Mediterranean Region is operated through PT-Outline.

Each Portuguese institution need to submit a Declaração de Compromisso, duly signed and stamped by the head of the Principal Contractor and by the Principal Investigator, to the contact person at FCT, by e-mail, until the submission deadline of proposals.
