News WSSCC Evaluation Support Officer – located in Geneva, Switzerland

The WSSCC puts Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) at the heart of its programmes to ensure that all its programmes, including the GSF programme, delivers results in line with its Medium Term Strategic Plan (MTSP) for the period 2012-2016. The M&E unit is a relatively new and small unit, situated within the Networking and Knowledge Management Department (NKM). It has an ambitious portfolio and it is striving to strengthen the organisation’s M&E systems and capacity to ensure that the M&E not only provides the basis to manage programmes for better results, but also acts as a powerful means to generate robust evidence for decision-making, learning and advocacy.

It is in this context that the WSSCC is looking to recruit an Evaluation Support Officer to support the growing Evaluation portfolio. The overall responsibility of the incumbent is to provide technical assistance and support to the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in ensuring Quality Standards in the Evaluation portfolio of the organisation.

Application deadline is Sunday, 30 August 2015.
