The Abbaspour 'Power and Water' University of Technology (PWUT) in Iran and UNESCO-IHE signed a memorandum of understanding

On 13 December 2012, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PWUT and UNESCO-IHE has been signed at the UNESCO-IHE in Delft. The MoU has duration of 5 years and reflects the dedication of both institutes to contribute to the improvement of the water and environmental sector.

Rector Prof. A. Szöllösi-Nagy of UNESCO-IHE and Dr. Ali Akbar Afzalian, President of PWUT represented the two parties at the signing ceremony. With this MoU, PWUT and UNESCO-IHE agree on a set of operational elements in the field of education, research, capacity building, joint research activities and sharing external contacts and publications.
