France : AVITEM and IME join their expertise
The Agency for Mediterranean Cities and Territories (Avitem) and the Mediterranean Water Institute (IME) signed a partnership agreement on Thursday 17 December 2020 in Marseille.
This text will enable the two parties to work on common issues - notably the fight against climate change and the promotion of integrated and sustainable development - and to carry out concrete actions by enhancing their mutual expertise. The convention thus provides for the sharing of beneficial modes of action in the processes of urban and territorial development through the exchange of experiences, the organization of workshops, capacity building, the enhancement of cooperation between institutions of the member countries of the Union for the Mediterranean developing expertise related to the themes of urban and territorial development and water resource management. This will be accompanied by the sharing of information and visibility supports.
