Gobal assessment report on biodiversity and ecosystem services: Summary for policymakers

Following the 7th Plenary meeting of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services held in Paris 29 April – 4 May, a summary for policymakers of the global assessment report on biodiversity and ecosystem services has been released. The report draws on almost 15,000 references and 150 experts in the natural and social sciences from over 50 countries to evaluate how far the world has come - and how much there's left to go - in achieving key international goals ranging from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Aichi Biodiversity Targets, to the Paris Climate Agreement.
