Jordan: Water minister discusses cooperation with German, Turkish ambassadors

Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Saud received separately on Wednesday 24/10/2018, German Ambassador Birgitta Siefker-Eberle and Turkish Ambassador Murat Karagoz and discussed water with them cooperation between Jordan and Germany and Turkey.

During his meeting with the German ambassador and the accompanying delegation, the minister stressed keenness to boost cooperation and benefit from the German expertise in the water field. The meeting also focused on water projects financed by Germany in the Kingdom.

Abu Saud also reviewed with the delegation projects Jordan intends to carry out in the water sector and voiced the government's appreciation to the support provided by German to Jordan, mainly in the water and energy sectors.

During his meeting with the Turkish ambassador, the minister reviewed Jordanian-Turkish cooperation in the water field as well as water projects carried out by Turkish companies in the Kingdom that contributed to addressing water shortage in the Kingdom.
