International Short Course in Decentralized Water Supply and Sanitation (DWSS)
The aim of this course is to provide theoretical background and practical
expertise for low-cost decentralized water supply and sanitation options
specifically suitable for small towns, peri-urban areas and urban slums, and
also for small island communities, tourist resorts and similar sensitive
environments.
At the end of this course, the participant will be familiar with different
technologies/methods for small-scale water abstraction, water treatment and
sustainable sanitation technologies including nutrient reuse in agriculture
in accordance with the concept of ecological sanitation (ecosan).
