The European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Union's financial institution, based in Luxembourg, is seeking for its Project Directorate (PJ) - Convergence & Environment - Water and Environmental Protection:

Water Sector Specialist

Assessment, within a multi-disciplinary team, of the technical, operational and environmental viability of capital investment projects and programmes in the water sector.

Qualifications:

• Advanced academic qualifications with relevant university degree in water engineering
• At least 8 years of experience in the water sector covering the main aspects of project cycle (feasibility, design, development, management and operation)
• Experience gained internationally, especially in developing countries and in the implementation of private sector participation in water services
• Experience on sector regulation, institutional frameworks and utility organisations would be an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of French and a very good command of English.
