Programme Manager Advocacy & Communications (P5), WSSCC, Switzerland [deadline 10 Sep 2009]
Under the general direction of the Executive Director of the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council, this senior-level post will provide strategic leadership and overall management of the Advocacy and Communications work and team.
Duty station: Geneva, Switzerland
Contract
duration: 2 years
Requirements include:
- Advanced university degree (Masters) or equivalent professional training in the fields of journalism, communications, development studies or international relations is essential;
- Considerable experience (minimum of 10 years) in advocacy and/or communications either in the water and sanitation sector or in a closely related development field, including at least 5 years at the international level;
- Fluent English or French, with a good working knowledge of at least one other UN language.
