GWP Consulting Partners Meeting 2010

The 2010 GWP Consulting Partners meeting with the theme “Exploring the role of Water Security in Regional Economic Development”, was held in Stockholm, Sweden on 3-4 September 2010. Participating GWP Partners recommended actions to be taken for the direction of the network as set out in the GWP 2009-2013 Strategy.

Dr Ismail Serageldin, the founding Chair of GWP, former Vice-President of the World Bank, and currently Librarian and Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and a GWP Patron, gave the first GWP Annual Lecture. Also, a special session was held on the flood catastrophe in Pakistan.
