Project Waste to water

- The proposal (it is a feasibility study) concept is to use the energy consequent of waste transformation for desalination. The technology offers major market potential for European equipment in developing arid regions of the world. Although straightforward, the concept has been little explored. Preliminary estimates by the co-ordinator support its viability.
- The aim is to enable appropriate partners to draft recommendations for a prototype design. The proposal brings together partners from different areas: waste incineration and desalination equipment manufacturers, a university research group, a SME.
