Protecting trans-boundary groundwater sources from pollution: research, training and guidelines for Israeli and Palestinian municipalities
The most significant water resources for Palestinians and Israelis are
the groundwater systems of coastal and mountain aquifers , currently
under severe threat of pollution.
The mountain aquifer has been
degraded by the lack of sustainable management practices by local
municipalities and other local stakeholders.
